So far, computer input has been largely keyboard-based, with the addition of pointing devices.
Interaction was conversational in early days, and there was no RSI.
It has become more intense (environment rather than tool), and now people are getting computer-related problems.
Some more recent input media are connected more closely to things people use away from computers, such as speech and handwriting.
