Men having no right to reply against women

It seems common (from the press, particularly in companies in the USA but also elsewhere) for women to be able to make objections against actions by male colleagues, and for men not to have an equal right to argue against the objections -- or sometimes even to argue at all, but the woman's objection is taken through unchanged (perhaps after a notional enquiry). Perhaps the women who are prepared to use such techniques think that's fair? Some might not in situations where they're not the woman involved?
